INCARNATE is hosting it’s third conference to inspire, encourage, challenge and equip anyone who wants their Christian faith to impact their community in the North East of England. This year we are delighted to be joined by Bart Campolo, Andy Hawthorne, Joy Madeiros, David Jones as well as many local speakers that will share their experience and passion for having ‘intimacy with Jesus and intimacy with the poor’.
Incarnate is a regional network that seeks to work broadly across the region with all Christian denominations and works in association with the Churches Regional Commission North East.

Josephine Butler associated herself with down-and-outs and prostitutes who were subjected to devastating stigma and harsh legislation in the 19th Century. As a devout Christian she believed that no-one was beyond God's love and redemption. Josephine translated her faith into practical action, seeking to change attitudes by personal example, changes to discriminatory laws and setting up refuges for terminally ill women.
Catering and refreshments
Tea and coffee will be available throughout the conference but catering will not be supplied as local amenities are available.
Exhibitions
There will be an exhibition area at the conference where a number of social action projects from around the region have been invited to profile their work. If you would like to have an exhibition stand at the conference please contact Victoria Spencer on 0191 491 5700.
Children
Unfortunately we regret that crèche facilities are not available and so we ask that children are not brought to the sessions.
